My path into this work wasn't just professional — it was personal.
For years I lived with a chronic cough so severe my children used it to find me in crowded supermarkets, and back and shoulder pain so debilitating I couldn't lift my arms to drive. I went through countless medical investigations — yet not one professional ever asked whether I was under stress at home or at work. The focus was purely on medication and invasive treatments. It wasn't until the stressors in my life eased that the symptoms began to fade. What I came to understand was that my body had been carrying what my mind hadn't yet found words for.
That realisation changed everything.
Now I help others listen to what their body is telling them. Blending neuroscience, compassion, and practical tools, I support people recovering from trauma, chronic stress, and emotional overwhelm — whether that shows up physically, mentally, or both. Whatever you are carrying, I offer a safe, non-judgmental space to explore and heal.
One area I'm particularly passionate about is domestic abuse. It is one of the most overlooked sources of trauma, yet its impact on the mind and body can be devastating and long-lasting — often showing up long after someone has left, in ways they don't always connect back to what they experienced.
Healing isn't about pushing through. It's about tuning in.
Through my partnership with The Mental Wellbeing Company, I offer 1:1 coaching, group work, and workplace sessions — bringing together somatic trauma-informed practice, solution focused hypnotherapy, and the Safe and Sound Protocol to help individuals and teams heal and thrive.
I hold an ICF accredited Trauma Informed & Nervous System Coaching Certificate, and am a qualified Trauma Informed Domestic Abuse and Coercive Control Practitioner and member of the Trauma Informed Professional Network.
